Storytelling, in Gogo’s hands can be a sacred practice, a community building tool, and a marketing method.
All of the stages in Homer have featured her storytelling, including a. community inter-faith event. The main city theatres to local schools have been in her story circle.
In Iowa, Gogo was a state artist, participating in a touring arts team. She also was featured in the Iowa celebration of the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.
